Budget Miami: 5 Free Things To Do

My budget Miami tips and tricks to visit Miami and not break the bank. This is my personal list of free things to do when you visit Miami while saving you money. I love Miami but if you have ever traveled to Miami, you know it can be expensive. These are my absolute favorite places to visit in Miami with little or no cash.

 BAYSIDE MARKETPLACE

Bayside Market Place

Bayside Marketplace is a shopping, dining and entertainment market place. It is hip and vibrant. There is free music with a live band on the weekends. You can stroll around and people watch or you can sit on the pier and watch the boats come and go. If you are looking for a cheap eat you have Hooters, Five Guys or Chili's Restaurants. My personal favorite is Bubba Gump Restaurant.  I always order the 1/2 pound of shrimp steam with butter. It is sinful and good.

Matheson Hammock Park

Matheson Hammock Park Matheson Hammock Park And Beach in Coral Gables is another one of the budget Miami Favorites. The park is adjacent to the amazing Fairchild Gardens. One of the best features at this park is the man-made tidal pool fill and flush with water from Biscayne Bay. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of South Beach, this is the place for you. It is quiet and serene. Grab a snack at the snack bar or if you looking for an upscale Restaurant, you can try the Red Fish Grill, which was named one of the most romantic Restaurants in Miami by the Miami Times Newspaper. I love this restaurant. It is so warm, romantic and inviting with the tree decorated with lights on the patio and when the sun goes down, it is just breathtaking. There is also a marina on site including a vendor for boating and sailing lessons. It is $5.00 per car entry fee.

 WYNWOOD ART DISTRICT, MIAMI

Wynn Walls
wynnwood wall Wynwood Art District is so mesmerizing. It is a budget Miami dream spot. Imagine walking around and seeing all this amazing artwork done on these buildings. It is home to so many art galleries, eclectic bars, and restaurants.  It is close to the Miami Design District. They have an art walk every second Saturday of the month, 6-10 pm. Most of the art galleries, stores, restaurants, and bars are open. It is a great night out with hundreds of people in the street dancing to the music and enjoying the Miami art scene.

 SOUTH BEACH, MIAMI

South Beach,  Miami is a trendy place to see and be seen.  You can grab a drink from Wet Willie and stroll down Ocean Drive and make your way to the
Versace Mansion, which has been turned into a hotel for the rich and famous. Enjoy the beach or South Beach's historic Art Deco architecture or the fine Oceanside dining, all of this in a single day.

 YOGA ON THE BEACH

YOGA CLASSESFree Yoga Classes on the beach. There is no reason not to stay in shape with these free classes at Bayfront Park and Coconut Grove. Bayfront Park is one of the most fantastic parks with a killer view of the bay. There are free yoga classes on Mondays and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. There are also free yoga classes in Coconut Grove's Peacock Park on Tuesday and Thursday night and Saturday Mornings.here
